    Description

Stewardship Volunteer - Help Donors Feel Valued and Connected to Their Impact

Have you ever received a heartfelt thank-you note that made your day?

Do you enjoy writing, organizing information, building relationships, and helping people feel appreciated?

The American Red Cross is looking for a Stewardship Volunteer to support our fundraising team by helping donors see the difference their generosity makes. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys meaningful communication, has an eye for detail, and wants to play an important role in advancing the humanitarian mission of the Red Cross.

Every disaster response, blood drive, preparedness program, and support service for military families is made possible because of donors who care. As a Stewardship Volunteer, you'll help strengthen those connections by creating thoughtful donor communications and supporting activities that recognize and celebrate our supporters.

    What You'll Do

As a Stewardship Volunteer, you'll help keep our donors engaged and inspired through a variety of meaningful projects, including:

    • Writing and personalizing donor thank-you letters
    • Assisting with donor recognition and appreciation efforts
    • Supporting fundraising campaigns and special events
    • Organizing donor communications and stewardship materials
    • Helping track and maintain donor correspondence records
    • Researching impact stories and helping share the mission behind donor support
    • Assisting with administrative projects that strengthen fundraising efforts

No two days are exactly alike. This role offers a unique blend of writing, communications, donor relations, and project support.

If you're someone who believes gratitude matters and enjoys helping others feel valued, this could be the perfect volunteer opportunity for you. Join us and help turn generosity into lifesaving impact.
