    Description

    Treasurer – The treasurer handles all financial affairs of the chapter, reports to the board on the financial status of the chapter, has signing authority along with President on all chapter financial accounts.

    • Maintain chapter financial records
    • Have oversight and signing authority, along with chapter President, of all chapter financial accounts
    • File required nonprofit forms annually or as required with IRS, CA Office of Attorney General, CA Franchise Tax Board, CA Secretary of State, PFLAG National, and other entities as required.
    • Reconcile, or cause to be reconciled, chapter accounts on a monthly basis
    • Submit a financial report to the board at a cadence as determined by the board
    • Provide expense and income data to the board for the purpose of developing an annual budget
    • Prepare an annual financial statement for the Annual General Membership Meeting
    • Remit dues to the PFLAG National office on an annual basis
    • Be responsive to communication from PFLAG National in a timely manner
