    Description

    Anniversary Project Manager Volunteer

    Purpose

    Lead and coordinate the planning of the Arts in CT 10-Year Anniversary Celebration and work with committee leaders to ensure all tasks are completed on time.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee the entire anniversary project
    • Lead planning meetings
    • Create timelines and deadlines
    • Keep volunteers accountable
    • Coordinate committees
    • Track progress on fundraising, sponsorships, marketing, and logistics
    • Report directly to Executive Director (BABS)
    • Maintain project management tools (Trello, Asana, Monday.com, Google Sheets, etc.)

    Ideal Candidate

    • Event planning experience
    • Project management experience
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Ability to lead volunteers
    • Passion for arts education

    Time Commitment

    Approximately 3–5 hours per week through August.

    Volunteer Expectations

    • Attend virtual planning meetings
    • Commit to supporting the event through August 2026
    • Communicate regularly with the planning team
    • Be passionate about arts education and youth development
    • Work collaboratively with other volunteers

    About the Event

    The celebration will recognize 10 years of service through Arts in CT and help raise funds to expand literacy through arts programming in schools. We hope to reconnect with former students, celebrate success stories, and inspire the next decade of impact.
