Do you enjoy meeting people, making others feel welcome, and helping your community thrive? Become a Little House Guest Services Ambassador with Peninsula Volunteers, Inc. (PVI), and help create a warm, friendly environment where older adults can connect, stay active, and feel at home.

As the first point of contact for visitors, you’ll play an important role in making every guest’s experience a positive one. Whether greeting members with a smile, answering phone calls, or helping newcomers discover activities and services, your kindness and guidance will help make Little House a welcoming place for everyone.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome visitors and members with warmth and enthusiasm.
• Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff.
• Help new members navigate the activity center, learn about programs, and feel comfortable getting involved.
• Serve as a friendly, knowledgeable resource for members and guests.
• Assist with other tasks as needed to support daily operations.

Who We’re Looking For

Friendly, dependable volunteers who enjoy interacting with people, communicate well, and want to make a difference in the lives of older adults. A welcoming attitude, patience, and a willingness to help are the most important qualifications!

Time Commitment

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
• Flexible shifts: 2- 5 hours based on availability
• Shift commitment: regular volunteers preferred .2 shifts minimum per month (based on your availability).
• Duration: Ongoing volunteer opportunity
