Program Director

What type of leader are you? Do you aspire to develop and help others grow professionally? Are you great at creating new systems and processes? Alternatively, can you improve existing systems and processes? Are you looking to strengthen your leadership skills? If this describes you, DYKB needs your help as a Program Director!

The Program Director works hand in hand with DYKB’s President and Vice President by overseeing their local and global programs operations to ensure its success while maintaining constant communication with the President on a daily basis. The Program Director also assists with interviews, orientation and reassignment of volunteers when necessary, compose business letters (e.g., letters of recommendation), build up existing programs, build new programs, and completes any administrative tasks as assigned by the organization’s President and Vice President.

In addition, the Program Director will schedule and facilitate weekly leadership meetings and attend team meetings virtually as needed to ensure program success. Update online community on a weekly basis on DYKB’s social media in a professional demeanor.

The Program Director is a university graduate with program management related experience, great interpersonal skills, concise and concrete verbal and written communication skills, detail oriented, organized, leadership skills, ability to work independently, dependable, possesses a strong work ethic and being bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
