    About the Event

    Community Con unites non-profits, educators, officials, businesses, and youth through workshops and panels designed to spark collaborative, actionable strategies for community impact. This exciting, free-admission event features a Small Business Market, a Non-Profit Showcase, a Youth Innovation Hub, a Family Fun Zone, food trucks, live music, a gaming tournament, and keynote speakers!

    We need passionate volunteers to help us bring this incredible day to life. By volunteering, you will play a direct role in supporting local youth, educators, and community leaders while ensuring the day runs smoothly for all of our guests.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Registration & Check-In: Greet community members, manage attendee registration, and hand out event materials and schedules.
    • Vendor & Food Truck Load-In: Help small businesses, non-profits, and food trucks find their designated spaces and assist them with basic setup questions.
    • Panel & Workshop Logistics: Direct attendees to keynote presentations and workshops, assist with seating, and ensure the panel spaces run on time.
    • Crowd Flow & Information: Guide families toward the Family Fun Zone, Youth Innovation Hub, and gaming tournaments, acting as a friendly face to answer basic venue questions.
    • Material Distribution: Hand out promotional items, flyers, and event maps at the entrance and key gathering areas.
