Friday Drive through Food Distribution

Description
WHAM hosts Friday Drive through Food Distributions from 7:30am - 12:00pm where we serve 150 + families. Volunteers would assist with any of the following: bag fresh produce, gather information for from clients, load fresh produce and other items into the trunks of cars, and light clean up. WHAM needs up to 20 volunteers. Volunteers must be 12 -13 years old with an adult, 14 years old and older can volunteer on their own.
Things to know:
- Closed toe shoes are required
- Dress for the weather as this is an outside event
- Wear long shorts/pants worn at the waist, shirts with sleeves, hats, gloves, etc.

Directions
We are on the corner of Rogerdale and Meadowglen Lane. We have a black Iron rod fence.
Enter the parking lot from Meadowglen Lane and park along the fence line.
Enter the building on the backside of the building by the open field.
A staff member will meet you there and get you checked in, give you a neon vest and your assignment.
How to Volunteer for This Opportunity
Volunteers create their WHAM volunteer Account here If 18 or older, you are required to complete a background check after you create your WHAM Volunteer Account. Look for "initiate background check".
