    Description

AccentCare Hospice and Palliative Care cares for patients in their own homes, and nursing facilities throughout 9 Maryland counties and the City of Baltimore. We have internship/field placement opportunities for the upcoming Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semesters for both bachelor and masters' level social work students.

A full orientation is provided where you will learn all about hospice. Once your orientation is complete, you will work under the supervision of an MSW, and provided opportunities to be involved in all aspects of the vital work done by our social workers on behalf of our patients and their families. You'll have the opportunity to make face-to-face contact with our patients and their families and become a member of our Interdisciplinary Group Team. You will continue to learn and grow, and by the end of your time with us, we're confident that you will have experienced a robust and fulfilling educational experience.

If you're interested please visit accentcare.com/internships/ to apply.

You can also contact the Volunteer Manager at 410-689-7404 for more information.
