St. Mark Community Education Program (SMCEP) runs ESOL and citizenship classes. Our mission is to help immigrants acquire the skills and citizenship status necessary to thrive, enrich their communities, and fully participate in society.
In addition to classes, we also have conversation groups that provide an opportunity for students to increase their vocabulary, learn American idioms and slang, and develop greater fluency.

We are seeking a volunteer to serve as “Conversation Group Coordinator”. This is a remote volunteer position and training will be provided.
Tasks may include:
The position requires a time commitment of approximately 3 hours per week for at least 6 months (preferably for at least a year). It’s a great opportunity to get to know people from other countries, and we’d love to have you join our vibrant team!
