    Description

    Position Overview:

    EKW Foundation is seeking a passionate and driven Volunteer Director of Fundraising to lead our fundraising efforts. The Volunteer Director of Fundraising will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive fundraising strategies to support our programs and initiatives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those in need while gaining valuable experience in non-profit management and development.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute fundraising strategies to achieve revenue targets and support the mission and objectives of EKW Foundation.
    • Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and partners to secure financial support and in-kind donations.
    • Identify and pursue new funding opportunities through grant writing, corporate partnerships, special events, and individual giving campaigns.
    • Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to create compelling fundraising materials, including appeals, newsletters, and social media content.
    • Organize and oversee fundraising events, including galas, charity auctions, and community outreach activities.
    • Provide leadership and support to volunteer fundraising committees and assist in recruiting and training volunteers.
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising activities, tracking progress towards goals and making recommendations for improvement.
    • Maintain accurate records of donors and donations using a CRM database, ensuring proper acknowledgement and stewardship of supporters.
    • Provide reporting and details to the Board of Directors during quarterly meetings.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
    • Proven experience in fundraising, sales, marketing, or related field, preferably within the non-profit sector.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and inspire others to support our cause.
    • Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with donor databases or CRM software is preferred.
