    We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team, drive technical execution, and ensure high-quality product delivery.

    Because building isn’t just about code.

    It’s about how teams deliver, scale, and succeed.

    The Role

    This role is responsible for leading engineering teams and ensuring the successful delivery of technical products and platforms.

    You will guide developers, oversee technical execution, and ensure projects are built with quality, scalability, and alignment to product goals.

    You are not just managing engineers.

    You are driving how engineering happens.

    This role operates at the intersection of engineering, product, and creative teams, ensuring strong collaboration and execution.

    What You’ll Own

    Engineering Team Leadership

      • Lead and mentor developers across projects
      • Provide guidance, support, and technical direction
      • Foster a collaborative and accountable engineering culture

    Technical Execution & Delivery

      • Oversee engineering work from concept to delivery
      • Ensure projects are:
      • Delivered on time
      • Built with quality
      • Aligned with requirements
      • Drive accountability across the team

    Engineering Standards & Best Practices

      • Establish and enforce:
      • Coding standards
      • Development practices
      • Quality expectations
      • Ensure consistency across engineering work

    Architecture & Technical Direction

      • Guide technical decisions and system design
      • Ensure solutions are:
      • Scalable
      • Maintainable
      • Efficient
      • Support long-term platform growth

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

      • Partner with:
      • Product teams
      • UX/UI designers
      • Engineering Project Manager
      • Ensure alignment between:
      • Technical execution
      • Product goals
      • Creative vision

    Workflow & Development Processes

      • Implement and manage development workflows:
      • Sprint planning
      • Stand-ups
      • Code reviews
      • Release cycles
      • Improve team efficiency and delivery

    Performance & Accountability

      • Set expectations and monitor team performance
      • Provide feedback and support improvement
      • Ensure engineers meet delivery and quality goals

    Risk & Issue Management

      • Identify technical risks and dependencies
      • Resolve blockers proactively
      • Escalate when necessary

    Documentation & Knowledge Sharing

      • Ensure proper documentation of:
      • Systems
      • Codebases
      • Processes
      • Promote knowledge sharing across the team

    Continuous Improvement & Innovation

      • Identify opportunities to improve engineering processes
      • Introduce new tools, practices, and technologies
      • Support innovation across projects

    Who This Is For

    This role is for someone who:

      • Has strong technical and leadership experience
      • Can guide engineers while driving delivery
      • Understands both coding and team management
      • Is focused on quality, scalability, and execution
      • Thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving environment

    Qualifications

    Required

      • 4–6 years of experience in:
      • Software engineering
      • Technical leadership or engineering management
      • Experience working with:
      • Development teams
      • Product or platform environments
      • Strong understanding of:
      • Software development lifecycles
      • Engineering best practices

    Preferred

      • Experience in game development, digital platforms, or creative technology
      • Experience with Agile or similar methodologies
      • Experience in nonprofit or mission-driven organizations
      • Experience in remote teams

    Commitment

      • 12–20 hours per week
      • Flexible schedule (with coordination across teams)
      • Participation in engineering and leadership meetings required
      • Fully remote
