    Be a STEM Role Model or Volunteer - Canada

    We're seeking volunteers to help run our STEM club for girls and gender diverse youth, ages 7 to 17. Learn more about CAGIS here.

    Please complete the volunteer application form (link below) if you are interested in volunteering with CAGIS.

    CAGIS volunteers are a diverse and varied group. Our volunteers include STEM professionals, graduate, and undergraduate students, professors, parents, teachers, and more.

    We have in-person CAGIS Chapters (local clubs) in:

    • Calgary, AB
    • Guelph/Kitchener/Waterloo, ON
    • London, ON
    • Mississauga/Oakville, ON
    • Ottawa, ON
    • Toronto, ON
    • Vancouver, BC
    • Victoria, BC
    • Windsor, ON
    • Kingston, ON

    Regular volunteer opportunities with CAGIS Chapters (local clubs) include:

    • helping to brainstorm, organize, and plan monthly events for members
    • helping with activities and supervision at monthly events
    • doing STEM outreach and activities at special events
    • hosting a CAGIS event in your area of expertise

    We also have a virtual program that brings STEM into the home!

    Regular volunteer opportunities with the virtual program include:

    • helping with activities and supervision at weekly, live, virtual events
    • hosting a CAGIS event in your area of expertise
