    Thank you for your interest in volunteering with My Friend's House Foundation LA! We're thrilled to have you join us in making a positive impact on the lives of those experiencing homelessness in Downtown Los Angeles.

    About My Friend's House Foundation LA

    For over 15 years, our "We Feed The Hungry" program has provided essential items and support to those in need. Every Wednesday, rain or shine, our dedicated staff and volunteers distribute food, clothing, toiletries, and more to individuals, families, seniors, disabled, and Veterans, including their pets. We believe in serving the community with compassion, dignity and respect.

    The Impact of Your Volunteerism

    Together, we've served over 875,000 meals and essentials, but the need continues. With the rising number of unhoused individuals, including children and seniors, your help is more critical than ever. Volunteering is a rewarding way to give back and connect with your community.

    The Need is Growing

    Unfortunately, the number of unhoused individuals, including children and seniors, has unfortunately risen. Your support is crucial in helping us meet this growing need.

    How to Volunteer

    It's easy to join us! Every Wednesday at 11:30 AM, we meet at 540 S San Pedro St., Los Angeles, CA 90013. (213) 537-0105. Please feel free to come on down, no need to call or confirm.

    Upon arrival, you'll find a signup table with volunteer waivers and a signup sheet. We'll provide any necessary supplies like masks and gloves. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO COME ON DOWN, no need to call or confirm.

    Here's what you'll be doing:

    • Distributing food, clothing, hygiene products, and other essentials
    • Offering encouragement and support to those in need

      • Clothing, socks, shoes, and basic essentials
      • Sleeping bags
      • Hygiene kits
