They drive online engagement. Digital marketing managers typically oversee an organization’s online presence while driving traffic and conversions through SEO/SEM, email, and advertising.
They will primarily be focus on working on the organization website.
Digital Marketing Manager Requirements and Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or Journalism is common. (CERTIFICATIONS CAN BE ACCEPTED AS A REPLACEMENT FOR THIS REQUIREMENT)
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in marketing roles, such as internships or assistant positions, are typically required. (CERTIFICATIONS CAN BE ACCEPTED AS A REPLACEMENT FOR THIS REQUIREMENT)
Technical Skills:
Analytics: Familiarity with Google Analytics and monitoring KPIs.
Platforms: Basic knowledge of CMS (WordPress) and social media scheduling tools (Hootsuite/Buffer).
Advertising: Understanding of paid search/social (Google Ads, Meta Ads).
Core Competencies: Content creation (copywriting), social media management, email marketing, and basic SEO/SEM.
Soft Skills: Creativity, adaptability, strong communication, and strong organizational skills.
