    Description

    Hospice Volunteers Stockton / San Joaquin Area
    • Bristol Hospice volunteers embrace a reverence for life and work with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, home health aides, social workers and spiritual support providers who specialize in end-of-life care.
    • Volunteers read to patients, watch movies, record life stories, create memory projects and listen to music with patients. This is a wonderful opportunity for students (18+) interested in a medical career, social work or psychology. Let us know if you have a certified pet companion, if you're a Veteran, a massage therapist, a licensed cosmetologist... or you have a big heart!
    • Bristol Hospice is growing in San Joaquin, East Contra Costa, Amador and Calaveras Counties. Volunteer schedules are flexible to meet the needs of working adults and students. If you’re a reliable person who can commit to three hours week - and most of all if you’re interested in providing companionship to someone at the end of their journey, call the volunteer coordinators at Bristol Hospice.
