    About the Campaign

    AmyMalone4Mayor is a grassroots campaign powered by volunteers and community members who are passionate about making a difference in San Bernardino. We use digital outreach and authentic storytelling to connect with voters, share our message, and build a movement rooted in trust. Every team member's voice matters here, and we actively encourage creativity, new ideas, and collaboration because the best campaigns are built together.

    About the Role

    We are seeking passionate and creative Social Media Volunteers to join our campaign team. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience in political communications, digital strategy, and campaign operations while making a tangible impact. Whether you're just starting out or already have some experience, we meet you where you are and provide the mentorship and support you need to grow.

    Responsibilities

    • Create content for platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
    • Assist with content ideation, trend research, and campaign messaging
    • Design graphics, edit short-form videos, or write captions based on your strengths
    • Monitor engagement and help build and maintain our online community
    • Collaborate with team members on campaign initiatives and creative direction

    What We're Looking For

    • Interest in social media, marketing, communications, or politics
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills
    • Creative, self-motivated, and dependable
    • All experience levels welcome—training is provided

    What You'll Gain

    A Note on Experience Credit

    Participants may choose to have their experience credited under AmyMalone4Mayor (Political Campaign) or Girl in Charge (PR Firm Experience), allowing you to align this opportunity with your academic or career goals.
