    Description

The International Council for Education Research and Training (ICERT) is a global academic organization with 501(c)(3) Public Charity (PC) status. Guided by our motto—Knowledge, Wisdom, and Prosperity—we bridge the gap between scientific research and global educational impact by organizing international virtual webinars, training sessions, and academic conferences.

The Project: We are seeking an energetic, organized, and articulate pro bono volunteer to serve as a Virtual Event Coordinator and Live Moderator for our upcoming global programs.

    Key responsibilities will include:

    • Coordinating the schedules and timelines for upcoming international online webinars, seminars, and workshops.
    • Acting as the live master of ceremonies (MC), moderator, or host for our virtual zoom sessions.
    • Welcoming international audiences, introducing distinguished keynote speakers, managing session transitions, and facilitating live audience Q&A/panel discussions.
    • Collaborating with the leadership team to help outreach to and source future US-based academic professionals as speakers.

Perks & Career Growth: This is a high-visibility role ideal for individuals looking to build an international portfolio in public speaking, academic leadership, or event production. Upon successful coordination of our event cycles, we proudly provide an official institutional Appreciation Letter and invite standout volunteers into long-term, permanent coordinator or leadership roles within ICERT.

    Qualifications:

    • Excellent spoken English, strong presentation skills, and a confident, professional on-camera presence.
    • Experience running or coordinating virtual platforms (Zoom, MS Teams, etc.) and managing online meeting flows.
    • A background or active interest in education, research management, or public relations is highly valued.
