    Description

Would you like to make a deep personal connection and also improve someone’s quality of life?

Sometimes people become more isolated as they age or live with a disability. They may lose friends and family members, have ongoing medical issues, and have difficulty getting out of their homes.

The Westside Friends program matches West Seattle elders and people with disabilities with volunteers for companionship, help with projects, and assistance with tasks like grocery shopping. Over time, many of our volunteers and their friends create deep connections that both find meaningful and fun.

We are looking for caring volunteers who have a few hours a month to share with one of their neighbors. Hours are flexible.

Please complete our online application at https://sc-ws.my.salesforce-sites.com/VolunteerApplication/VOL_Application.

Or for more information contact Michele Fawcett-Long, Westside Friends Coordinator at michelef@wscenter.org or 206-928-1730.

We're a program of The Center for Activie Living (formerly the Senior Center of West Seattle), and we appreciate your interest in supporting your West Seattle community.
