Description
Seed2Need is a non-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to reducing hunger in our community by growing fresh fruits and vegetables and donating it to local food pantries in Bernalillo and Sandoval Counties in New Mexico. Annually, Seed2Need donates thousands of pounds of produce, typically ranging from 30,000 to 60,000 pounds.
Get your hands dirty and your heart full by planting 1,900 chile seedlings with us! This in-person event is a fun way to make a real impact in your community. Whether you're a seasoned gardener or a first-timer, come out and help us grow fresh food for those in need. Let's dig in together and make a difference! You can come during any portion of the work session - come late or leave early.

Please carpool, if possible. Park in the area just east of the residence.
How to Volunteer for This Opportunity
You don't need to sign up - just show up!! Join us whenever you can during the work session timeframe (8am - 12pm). Once onsite, if you haven't volunteered with us prior, we will ask that you fill out our annual waiver. Then, we'll get to work!
- Bring snacks and water for yourself. (We'll also have water onsite)
- Wear sunscreen and/or a hat.
- S2N will provide tools and guidance on activities.
