This volunteer-driven initiative brings together residents, volunteers, local organizations, and sponsors to provide yard and exterior clean-up services for seniors and residents with disabilities, helping them start the spring season with a safer, cleaner, and more welcoming home environment.
We will gather at 8:00 AM for a brief welcome, light breakfast, and team assignments. Volunteer groups will then disburse to their assigned homes to begin work.
At 1:00 PM, volunteers will reconvene in the Brightwood parking lot for lunch, refreshments, and music as we celebrate a meaningful day of service together.
Volunteers will work in teams across the neighborhood to assist with light exterior projects and beautification efforts, including:
We welcome volunteers of all ages and experience levels, including individuals, families, churches, student groups, fraternities and sororities, and local businesses looking to give back to the community.
PLEASE NOTE: In the event of inclement weather, the make up date will be Friday, May 1, 2026.
