Greeters

As a greeter you will be sitting or standing by the information table ready to answer any questions tourists or visitors may have. You can also wave to people and say “Hi!” as they walk, jog, or ride their bikes.

Once they are there you can tell them who we are and why we are there. “We setup every Sunday from 10 am - 6 pm. It is a free / donation based art workshop. Donations are appreciated, but not required. We use Zelle and Cash app and also accept cash money as well. There are 8 painting stations. Toddlers can paint on 8-1/2” x 11” 100 pound card stock paper which is pretty thick. Older kids can paint on 8”x8” canvas boards. A drawing table with hundreds of markers and color pencils. A sculpting table with many carving tools with modeling clay that dries on its own in a few days. A self service face painting table. Sometimes a volunteer shows up that lives near by to help with that. There are many template stickers to choose from that are applied to the skin. Painted over then peeled away. There are free cold water bottles on ice. Free food that includes apples, Cutie easy to peel oranges, grapes, bananas, pears, and strawberries. Assorted muffins and orange juice. There are also several fun games like Giant Jenga, Giant Connect Four, Children’s crochet, a soccer ball to play on the grass. A football, a 2 person hammock, a box of colorful 18” balloons and another box of 3’ balloons. Half a bucket of elastic Giant bubbles with 4 sets of wands or sticks. A longboard skateboard, and 2 boogie boards to use.
