    Use your voice, your network, and your passion to bring help and hope to your community.

    ROLE OVERVIEW

    Community Representatives are trusted neighborhood champions who share information about Alzheimer’s and connect individuals, families, and organizations to free resources from the Alzheimer’s Association. Whether it’s at a local library, church, business, or farmers market—you are the bridge.

    KEY ACTIVITIES

      • Represent the Alzheimer's Association at local events within your county.
      • Promote programs and services like education programs, support groups, care consultations, and the 24/7 Helpline.
      • Use conversations to raise awareness, connect families and individuals to services, support, and volunteer opportunities

    QUALIFICATIONS

    āœ… Friendly, self-motivated, and community-minded

    āœ… Strong communication skills—both verbal and written

    āœ… Basic computer/email comfort

    āœ… Passion for the Alzheimer’s Association’s mission (personal/professional experience a plus)

    COMMITMENT

    šŸ—“ļø Minimum 1-year term leading monthly events

    šŸ—“ļø Flexible schedule with consistent communication

    šŸ“¬ Regular contact with the Volunteer & Outreach Coordinator

    šŸŽ“ Completion of training and participation in ongoing education

    šŸ” Annual goals set and reviewed with staff partner
