    Description

Join us at the Idaho Central Aquatic Center for a swimming session! NWABA is looking for volunteers that are interested and excited about being paired up to swim and support our athletes in the pool. Led by a Northwest Association for Blind Athletes Team Member, athlete's will participate in water aerobics and work on personal goals (e.g. learn breaststroke, swim three continuous laps).

Your opportunity is to be paired up with an athlete to ensure safe swimming, as well as support instruction by providing verbal descriptions and cues during swim. Volunteers should be very comfortable in the water, as well as feel confident in ability to be under water.
