    Description

    Global Health & Poverty Advocate

Help protect the progress that’s transformed millions of lives.

A child survives malaria. A mother receives prenatal care. A community gains access to lifesaving vaccines. A student stays healthy enough to learn.

These outcomes don’t happen by accident. They are made possible through long-term investments in global health, nutrition, education, and economic opportunity.

Congress plays an important role in deciding whether those investments continue.

RESULTS is a nationwide movement of everyday people who work together to encourage lawmakers to support policies that reduce poverty and improve health around the world. Our volunteers believe where someone is born should never determine whether they have the opportunity to survive and thrive.

You don’t need experience in advocacy or public policy. We’ll provide the training, mentorship, and support to help you become an effective advocate.

    As a volunteer, you’ll:

    • Meet with members of Congress and their staff.
    • Write letters to the editor and opinion pieces for local media.
    • Advocate for investments in global health, nutrition, education, and economic opportunity.
    • Join a supportive nationwide community working toward a healthier, more equitable world.

    What You’ll Gain

    • Advocacy and leadership skills.
    • Direct access to Congress.
    • Professional development through interactive trainings.
    • Guidance from experienced volunteer leaders and policy experts.
    • A national network of people committed to ending extreme poverty.
