    About Youth Economists Forum (YEF)

    Youth Economists Forum (YEF) is a youth-led organisation that empowers high school students to explore economics, public policy, and social issues through research, dialogue, and digital engagement. YEF’s social media platforms play a key role in sharing student voices and building an informed youth community.

    Role Overview

    YEF is looking for creative and enthusiastic High School Content & Social Media Team Members to help manage our online presence. This role is ideal for students who enjoy writing, design, video creation, or social media and want hands-on experience in digital communication for a youth-focused nonprofit.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Create social media content (posts, captions, stories, reels, or short videos)
    • Assist in planning content for events, research publications, and campaigns
    • Design simple graphics using tools like Canva (or similar)
    • Help write captions and short announcements in a clear, engaging tone
    • Support posting and scheduling content across platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
    • Engage with the online community by monitoring comments and messages (with guidance)

    Who Should Apply

    • Currently enrolled high school students (Grades 9–12 or equivalent)
    • Interest in social media, content creation, communications, or design
    • Basic writing skills in English
    • Creativity, reliability, and willingness to learn
    • No prior professional experience required
