    Description

    Job Title: Maintenance Volunteer

    Reports To: Volunteer Coordinator/Maintenance Coordinator

    GENERAL PURPOSE

    Assists the Maintenance Coordinator to complete everyday tasks around The Salvation Army according to one’s skillset

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Duties and responsibilities vary depending on one’s skillset- but can include painting, facilities maintenance tasks/handy-man work, yard work, and cleaning
    • A minimum (5) hours per week is asked of the volunteer to help start and complete projects

    LOCATION AND OPERATION HOURS

    • Primary location is at 190 S. Maple St.
    • May be needed to help at the Barberton Corp location as needed.

    EXPERIENCE

    • Experience in a skilled craft or jack-of-all-trades.
    • Should be able to work unsupervised as needed.
