Description
Become an ambassador for our military service members in need by volunteering as a Client Services Assistant. Our Client Services Assistants maintain our front office, provide customer service, perform various business administration tasks, answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and process small loan applications. No previous experienced required! Training is provided for all volunteers. Build your skills in teambuilding, customer service, business administration, and leadership and grow your knowledge of the military pay system and Quantico resources.
This is a great match for military spouses looking to build their resumes and skills and/or make new connections! We rely on our volunteers to make giving back to our service members and their families a possibility!

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist clients with interest-free loans, grants, budget counseling and referrals
- Assist clients in determining paperwork needed
- Schedule appointments
- Manage incoming phone calls and answer general questions
- Check clients in for appointments
- Greet clients courteously
- Become an ambassador for NMCRS
- Ideally be able to commit at least one four-hour shift per week. Schedules varies and can be discussed during orientation.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Complete NMCRS Orientation and Training
- Basic computer skills
- Be able to work collaboratively with a variety of personalities, including clients and fellow volunteers
