    Description

    Join the American Red Cross as a Patient Care Clinic Volunteer at Fort Drum and make a meaningful impact in your community. As a Red Cross Volunteer, you will play a vital role in supporting our mission to prevent and alleviate human suffering. This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills, engage with diverse groups, and contribute to essential services that help those in need.

    Duties

    • Escorting patients to inquiry services
    • Calling to remind patients about upcoming appointments
    • Collecting and cleaning clipboards
    • Assisting patients with signing into Q-flow
    • Supporting completion of ICE/JOES comments
    • Contacting patients ahead of their appointment time for reminders
    • Assisting patients with limited mobility to transfer to and from appointments
    • Contacting patients who may be due for risk-reducing screenings (breast, colon, and cervical cancer)

    Qualifications

    • Security clearance (process will be supported)
    • Preferably someone with base access (DoD ID card holder) but not limited to.
