Description
Best Friends Animal Society in Los Angeles welcomes interested youth volunteers ages 16 and 17 to sign up to volunteer on-site with us. Youth volunteers will be required to volunteer alongside an adult that is 18 years or older. Some opportunities that youth volunteers can participate in are:
- Accompany adult with Dog Walking and Enrichment Prep
- Cat Cleaning and Socialization
- Foster Team Assistance
- General Assistance
- On-Site and Off-Site Events
- Cat Cafe Transporter
- Accompany adult on an Adventure Buddy Outing

How to Volunteer for This Opportunity
When creating an account, youth volunteers will select 'Los Angeles Volunteer Under 18' and adults will select 'Los Angeles Volunteer' as entry points. The 'On-Site Volunteer' checklist will need to be completed in order to access shifts. The adult and youth volunteer will both sign up for the same shift and attend the shift together.
