    Description

    Disaster Action Team volunteers respond to thousands of disasters, large and small, every year. The majority of our responses are to home fires, where we provide financial and material assistance, comfort, and access to community resources to people who have just had what is likely the worst day of their lives.

    We have an urgent need for a Disaster Action Team Members in Weber County and all of Northern Utah to ensure that home fires and other disasters that occur within the Davis, Weber, Cache, Rich, etc. area are responded to quickly and properly. All training is provided, and the time commitment is flexible.

    Key responsibilities:

    Assist local families/individuals who have experienced a home fire or larger disaster. Meet with the family during or shortly after their fire to offer care, comfort, compassion and financial assistance to the family to help with emergency needs.
