    Help bring history to life as a docent guide at the Mallory- Neely Home located in the Victorian Village Historic District. The Mallory-Neely Home is one of Memphis' treasured historic sites. It is all the more special in that it retains all of the original historic interiors, furniture, and artifacts almost exclusively.

    As a guide in this wonderful home, you will offer visitors up close and personal experiences while walking through the home. You will give visitors a glimpse into the lives of a family from over hundred years ago. Docents will conduct tours and give accurate information on the home and its occupants. Docents will also assist with special events and serve as a link between the community and guests to the home. Docents must commitment to 4 hours a month on Fridays or Saturdays for one year. Preferred skills are individuals with a desire to work with the public and an interest in history.     Instructions:

    Docent will be given training on presenting material about the house and it's occupations, for one years time. Volunteer should be 18years or over.
