9/12 Ecological Restoration Volunteer Day at South Beach Park, Boca Raton
Details
Description
Join the Institute for Regional Conservation and the City of Boca Raton to restore the beach dunes at South Beach Park! On Saturday, September 12th, volunteers will help install native plants and remove invasive species that threaten this important dune ecosystem.
No experience is required—just grab a friend and come help restore native biodiversity at South Beach Park! Whether it’s your first event or you’re a returning volunteer, we’d love to have you join the IRC family and experience the fun of habitat restoration.
Please RSVP to reserve your spot.
Wear comfortable outdoor clothing, a hat, and sunscreen, as you’ll be working in full sun. Bring a reusable water bottle and anything else you need to stay comfortable outdoors. We’ll provide the rest!
A reminder email with event details will be sent before the event, so be sure to sign up and keep an eye on your inbox.
