    Reports to: Assistant National Director

Time Commitment: 8–12 hours per week

    Location: Remote — United States

Type: Volunteer (compensation explored as funding grows)

    Overview

The Northeast Regional Director (NE) leads all American PACT activity across the Northeast region, coordinating State Directors, ensuring consistent messaging, and driving growth across their assigned states. This is a ground-floor leadership opportunity with direct impact on the movement's July 2026 launch.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead and support State Directors across all NE region states
    • Coordinate regional strategy in alignment with national priorities
    • Serve as the primary liaison between national leadership and state teams
    • Monitor and report on regional progress, growth, and challenges
    • Represent American PACT at regional public engagements when appropriate
    • Identify and recruit State Directors for states not yet organized
    • Participate as an active member of the national leadership team

    What We're Looking For

    • Familiarity with the political and civic landscape of the Northeast region
    • Leadership experience in civic, professional, or community organizations
    • Strong communication and organizational skills
    • Nonpartisan — committed to citizen-led government and term limits
    • Self-directed and able to work independently across a large geographic area
    • Comfortable using AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT — expected of all national volunteers
    • Must be a U.S. citizen currently residing in the United States

    Supporting Roles Within This Region

Each regional director will be supported by a Regional Communications Representative and a Regional Candidate Recruitment Coordinator. These roles will be recruited in coordination with the Regional Director once in place.

    A Note on the Future

While currently a volunteer role, American PACT intends to explore compensation and expense reimbursement for key team members as funding grows — beginning with those who have been with the movement from the start.
