    Volunteer to help feed local residents in need!

    Volunteer with us at the Palm Beach County Food Bank to sort and pack food items! You will be a hunger hero as the food you pack will be distributed to thousands of people in our community struggling to put food on the table.

    To help ensure a smooth and enjoyable volunteer experience, please review the following important information:

    Volunteer Guidelines

    1. Arrival: Please arrive about 15 minutes early to allow time for check-in.
    2. Orientation: A brief volunteer orientation will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m.
    3. Footwear: Closed-toe shoes are required (no sandals or flip-flops).
    4. Clothing: Wear comfortable clothing; t-shirts, shorts, and polo shirts are all appropriate.
    5. Masks: Optional.
    6. Gloves: Provided when handling perishable foods (e.g., fruits and vegetables).
    7. Breaks: Volunteers will receive one 20-minute break. Water will be available, and snacks will be provided in the employee lounge.
    8. Note: Please refrain from using cell phones or eating in the volunteer work areas.
