Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in Colorado Springs? Happy Cats Haven is actively recruiting strategic, mission-driven professionals to join our Board of Directors.

Since 2011, we've grown from a small operation into a vital community resource. In 2024 alone, we saved 950 cats and kittens, finding forever homes for 774 of them. Our commitment to the most vulnerable cats (62% of adoptions being adult and seniors) sets us apart in the animal welfare community.

We're Seeking Board Members with Expertise In:

🏛️ Nonprofit Law – Guide governance, compliance, and legal best practices

💰 Fundraising Strategy – Develop innovative campaigns and donor engagement initiatives

📊 Financial Planning & Legacy Giving – Build sustainable revenue through planned giving programs

💡 Revenue Development – Identify and cultivate new funding streams

🤝 Community Networking – Connect us with key partners across the region

What Board Service Offers You:

Board Member Commitment:

• Attend quarterly board meetings • Participate in at least one committee aligned with your expertise • Support fundraising through personal giving and network cultivation • Serve as an ambassador for our mission • Two-year term with possibility of reappointment • Approximately 3-5 hours monthly commitment
