    About the Role

Hecho por Nosotros (HxN) is seeking Team Coordination & Leadership Volunteers to support the organization and development of its multidisciplinary and international teams. Team Coordinators serve as a bridge between volunteers, team members, and organizational leadership, helping ensure that projects remain organized, collaborative, and aligned with HxN’s objectives.

The role is ideal for individuals with strong leadership, communication, organization, and people-management skills who enjoy working with diverse teams and turning ideas into coordinated action. Coordinators will contribute to creating a positive team environment while supporting members in their responsibilities, projects, and professional development.

The key responsibilities of this position are as follows:

The Volunteer will coordinate the day-to-day work of an assigned HxN team, supporting the organization of tasks, priorities, deadlines, meetings, and ongoing projects. The role will ensure that team members understand their responsibilities, have access to the necessary information and resources, and remain aligned with the objectives of their area.

The Volunteer will facilitate communication within the team and with other HxN areas, encouraging collaboration and ensuring that relevant information, updates, and decisions are communicated effectively. The Coordinator will follow up on ongoing activities, identify potential challenges or delays, support problem-solving, and escalate relevant issues to organizational leadership when necessary.

The role will also contribute to team engagement and development by welcoming and supporting new members, encouraging participation, recognizing contributions, and helping create an inclusive and collaborative working environment. Coordinators may organize team meetings, establish follow-up mechanisms, support internal planning, and contribute to the evaluation and improvement of team processes.

The Volunteer will also support the preparation of progress updates, reports, documentation, and other materials that help leadership understand the team’s activities, achievements, challenges, and priorities.
