Description
Are you a licensed massage therapist looking for a way to give back? St. David’s Hospice & Family Care is seeking volunteer massage therapists to provide gentle, therapeutic touch to hospice patients in the Austin area.
How Massage Therapy Helps Hospice Patients:
- Relieves muscle tension and pain
- Reduces stress and anxiety
- Promotes relaxation and better sleep
- Enhances overall well-being
Your Role as a Volunteer:
- Offer light-touch or gentle massage techniques
- Create a soothing, healing experience
- Provide comfort and care to those in need
