Details
Description
Love group fitness? Use your passion for movement to help end Alzheimer's. The Alzheimer's Association is looking for fitness enthusiasts to serve as Volunteer Leaders for Do What You Love to End ALZ, our signature fundraising campaign that turns what people love into meaningful action.
As a Fitness Volunteer Leader, you'll encourage local studios, gyms, and instructors to host donation-based classes that support Alzheimer's care, support, and research. Whether you're a regular at your neighborhood studio, an instructor, or a member of a workout crew, you already know the people who can make this happen.
Your Role Will Include:
- Recruiting studios, gyms, and instructors to host donation-based classes
- Coaching hosts on how to plan and promote their class
- Hosting recruitment classes or info sessions
- Connecting with CrossFit boxes, Pilates, barre, spin, and dance studios
- Tabling at fitness events and giving short presentations
- Sending follow-ups, writing thank-you notes, and celebrating milestones
We'll provide all the training and tools you need. You bring your love of fitness and your local connections.
