TikTok Social Media Strategist (Unpaid Internship) – The Alexander Review
The Alexander Review (TAR) is seeking a TikTok Social Media Strategist to support the launch and development of our TikTok presence.
This is an unpaid internship while TAR is pre-revenue. It is designed for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in digital media, short-form content strategy, and audience growth within an emerging publication.
You will play a key role in helping us build our TikTok platform from the ground up, contributing creatively and strategically to how TAR presents itself in short-form video.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and executing a TikTok content strategy
- Create, edit, and publish short-form video content
- Translate written articles and ideas into engaging TikTok formats
- Research trends and identify relevant opportunities
- Support content planning and scheduling
- Monitor analytics and contribute to performance reporting
- Engage with audience comments and platform activity where appropriate
Who We’re Looking For
- Strong understanding of TikTok’s platform and content trends
- Comfortable filming and/or editing short-form video
- Creative, proactive, and detail-oriented
- Interested in media, culture, and/or politics
- Reliable and willing to take initiative
- Looking to build practical experience in digital publishing
