    Description

Program Operations Manager (Volunteer) – LoopRoots Foundation

Loop Roots Foundation is a national nonprofit dedicated to empowering families and rebuilding futures through community-driven programs in workforce development, financial literacy, housing stability, entrepreneurship, legal aid, youth engagement, and mental wellness.

We partner with families, returning citizens, and underserved communities to create a full-circle support system — connecting people to jobs, housing, education, and health resources through technology and collaboration.

    Role Overview

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and mission-driven Program Operations Manager (Volunteer) to help coordinate our seven program areas:

Loop Works, Loop Financial Literacy, Loop Housing, Loop Entrepreneurs, Loop Legal, Loop Youth, and Loop Health.

This role will support leadership by organizing operations, tracking program progress, and maintaining communication across departments. It’s a great opportunity for someone interested in nonprofit management, community development, or social-impact operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage and track program activities in Zoho Projects (our internal project management system).
    • Coordinate with program leads, designers, and volunteers to keep timelines and deliverables on schedule.
    • Maintain accurate documentation in Zoho WorkDrive and update status dashboards.
    • Schedule meetings, record notes, and distribute summaries for ongoing projects.
    • Support the Founder and Program Coordinators with reports, data entry, and impact tracking.
    • Communicate with community partners and assist with outreach documentation.
    • Help streamline internal processes and build operational efficiency.

    Qualifications

    • Strong organizational and communication skills.
    • Familiarity with project management or CRM tools (Zoho, Asana, or Trello preferred).
    • Interest in community development, social impact, or nonprofit work.
    • Comfortable collaborating remotely across time zones.
    • Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently with guidance.

    Time Commitment

    • 20-25 hours per week (flexible schedule).
    • Minimum 3-month commitment preferred, with the option to extend or take on more leadership responsibility.

    What You’ll Gain

    • Hands-on experience in nonprofit operations and program coordination.
    • Professional references and letters of recommendation upon successful completion.
    • Mentorship and collaboration directly with the Founder and leadership team.
    • The chance to make a tangible impact on families and communities nationwide.
