Host an International Student: Meet Candela from Spain!

Meet Candela(15): She's a thoughtful 15-year-old entering 10th grade as an exchange student. Candela loves music and has played the clarinet for 7 years! She's also into kickboxing and dreams of a career in the medical field. We're looking for a warm host family to welcome Candela into their home. Responsibilities:

• Provide a safe, supportive, and welcoming home environment.
• Provide three meals a day (student has their own spending money for eating out).
• Treat the student as a member of the family, not a guest.
• Help the student integrate into the local community and high school.
• Volunteer opportunity (no stipend is provided)

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 25 years old.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Have a spare bedroom (students can share a room with a host sibling of the same gender and similar age).
• A heart for cultural exchange and supporting a young person's dreams!
