Volunteer in WHEAT's Fair Trade Store supporting lifestyle change internationally, as well as locally, through the fair trade and sale of handicrafts by artisans around the world.
The Fair Trade Store is a major program of the World Hunger Education, Advocacy & Training organization -WHEAT - operating as an outreach project to end hunger and seek economic justice around the globe.
Retail sale of fairly traded quality merchandise from multiple resources empowers the individual artisan and supports a sustainable way of life - providing economic resources for food, education and housing.
Volunteers may work on displays, promotions and marketing; share the stories of the artisans with customers; visit community and church groups to tell our story; staff our booths at conferences, conventions and special events.

All volunteers will first attend a New Volunteer Orientation to become familiar with WHEAT and its programs. The 30 minute orientation includes a tour and presentation on all the volunteer opportunities available and a chance to ask questions.
Please email Volunteer@HungerHurts.org for current orientation dates and times available; once a seat is saved for you, a New Volunteer Application will also be sent via email.
