Description
Aquarium Interpreters interact with visitors to the Smithsonian Marine Ecosystems Exhibit and share information about our six Model Ecosystems and other aquaria. Additionally, Aquarium Interpreters lead daily feeding tours at 10:30am and 2:30pm. Aquarium Interpreters may also assist visitors at the touch tank and assist education staff with scheduled school and/or public programs. Exhibit staff will provide all training. No prior experience necessary.
Requirements: Minimum age is 16; minimum commitment of 3 hours per week for 2 months. Must pass a background check, which includes being fingerprinted at no cost.
1 shift available:
- additional shifts available 1pm to 4pm.: 10:00 to 13:00 EST
