    Description

Urban Development Corporation (UDC) is a nonprofit organization doing work on the N.E. Side of Detroit.

We are engaged in stabilizing one inner-city neighborhood block and have a need for a group of volunteers to lend a helping hand with the massive clean-up of the landscape of two dilapidated houses in an effort to improve safety. Scope of work includes debris removal, cutting down overgrown vegetation, weedwacking and grass cutting.

UDC is seeking groups: Corporations, churches, civic organizations, social clubs, sororities and fraternities are encouraged to participate as a way of helping a community very much in need, and employee team building. Come out for a little party while volunteering your time to give back to a community very much in need. If interested email us at volunteers@urbandevelopmentcorp.org .

Simply select the best day and time for your group to come out and UDC will supply all equipment and tools needed for the volunteer opportunity. Great opportunity for a fall volunteer project.
