Detroit Neighborhood Blitz "Group" Clean-up Opportunity

Urban Development Corporation (UDC) is a nonprofit organization doing work on the N.E. Side of Detroit.

We are engaged in stabilizing one inner-city neighborhood block and have a need for a group of volunteers to lend a helping hand with the massive clean-up of the landscape of two dilapidated houses in an effort to improve safety. Scope of work includes debris removal, cutting down overgrown vegetation, weedwacking and grass cutting.

UDC is seeking groups: Corporations, churches, civic organizations, social clubs, sororities and fraternities are encouraged to participate as a way of helping a community very much in need, and employee team building. Simply select the best day and time for your group to come out and UDC will supply all equipment and tools needed for the volunteer opportunity. Great opportunity for a fall volunteer project.
