    Description

Event rental openers and closers at historic train depot

Help us welcome renters who've reserved the Issaquah Depot Museum's Freight Room on evenings and weekends. These events occur once every few months are scheduled in advance (2+ weeks) so you can plan ahead—and we'll always check with you for your availability before adding you to the schedule. You'll be responsible for:

    • Unlocking the Freight Room using the Depot's outdoor keybox
    • Greeting renters and showing them the lights, kitchenette, tables and chairs, cleaning supplies, and sliding doors.
    • Getting out the projector, screen remote, etc. if needed (but renters are responsible for their own setup)
    • Show the renter how to connect to the WiFi
    • Being available via text or call if your renters decide to close early
    • Returning to the Freight Room at the end of the scheduled rental to check that the renter has cleaned up properly (swept floor, emptied fridge, stacked chairs, removed trash, etc.)
    • Signing off on the renter's closeout checklist and putting IHM-owned equipment away

You are not responsible for setting up tables and chairs, projectors, etc., or for taking out the trash—these responsibilities fall to renters.

This opportunity is ideal for an Olde Town Issaquah local who doesn't mind quick trips to the Depot on an occasional basis.
