    Description

    Welcome Donors. Help Save Lives! (Benton Co.)

    The American Red Cross is seeking friendly and dependable volunteers to serve as Blood Donor Ambassadors in Kennewick, Washington.

    Blood Donor Ambassadors help create a positive and welcoming experience for blood donors at our fixed site location and occasionally at mobile blood drives throughout the community. This role is essential in helping ensure donors feel appreciated and supported throughout their donation experience.

    We are looking for volunteers who can commit to at least 6 months and ideally take 2 or more shifts per month.

    Current shift needs include:

    • Sunday from 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM
    • Sunday from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
    • Saturday from 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM
    • Friday from 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM as backup support

    As a Blood Donor Ambassador, you may:

    • Welcome and check-in blood donors
    • Provide excellent customer service and donor support
    • Assist with appointment flow and hospitality
    • Help create a comfortable and positive donation environment

    We are looking for volunteers who:

    • Have strong communication and people skills
    • Are dependable and professional
    • Enjoy working with the public
    • Have reliable personal transportation, as this role may occasionally support mobile blood drives

    No medical experience is required. Training is provided by the American Red Cross.

    We are especially seeking volunteers who are bilingual in English and Spanish to help support and connect with our diverse community.
