    Position Overview

As Momivate’s Elevate Leader, you will oversee initiatives aimed at increasing societal respect for the role of motherhood. This is one of Momivate’s four key pillars (Activate, Cultivate, Innovate, Elevate). You will lead efforts in social media engagement, recognition programs, professional advocacy, and future certification initiatives—all with the goal of uplifting and validating the significance of motherhood.

    • Social Media Leadership (High Priority):
      • Recruit, train, and manage a volunteer Social Media Team to create and share content.
      • Oversee content strategy across platforms, ensuring cohesive messaging with the Newsletter and Website Teams.
      • Utilize Canva Pro for branding and design consistency.
      • Expand social media presence beyond Facebook and Instagram to platforms like Pinterest, X, NextDoor, and Peanut.
    • Wall of Honor Promotion:
      • Promote and encourage the gifting of pages on the Wall of Honor, recognizing and celebrating mothers.
    • Team Leadership & Outreach:
      • Recruit and train volunteers to help carry out these initiatives while ensuring no one is overwhelmed.
      • Oversee and support the Team Solidarity ChairMom in fostering a strong, united volunteer team.
      • Serve as a “Mombassador,” representing Momivate in outreach efforts, group presentations, and networking opportunities.
    • Certification Program – not yet developed:
      • Support the development of a R.A.I.S.E. Certification Program to formally recognize mothers’ skills and progress.
      • Ensure validity in tracking mothers’ achievements and structuring a portfolio system.
      • Review and sign off on certifications as they are awarded.
    • Advocacy Among Employers:
      • Develop messaging to educate employers on the value of motherhood as professional experience.
      • Build relationships with employers and HR professionals to promote policies that acknowledge the transferable skills of mothers.
      • Provide support for career fair participation and networking opportunities.

    Commitment & Expectations

    • Dedicate a minimum of 3-5 hours per week to leadership duties and outreach.
    • Communicate proactively if circumstances impact your ability to fulfill responsibilities.
