    Description

Moodle / LMS Training Assistant – Volunteer or Academic Internship (Remote)

The Cold Case Foundation (CCF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to resolving cold cases involving missing persons, homicide, and sexual assault. Working globally with law enforcement agencies and victims’ families, CCF applies advanced criminal investigative analysis, violent crime specialization, and modern forensic methodologies to cases that have stalled or been exhausted of local resources.

CCF is committed to mitigating the long-term harm caused by unresolved violent crime by providing investigative support, technical expertise, and professional training. All Foundation resources are directed toward public awareness, lawful collaboration, and practical assistance to advance case resolution and successful adjudication.

The Cold Case Foundation is investing heavily in video-on-demand and audio-on-demand learning for Public Safety professionals, civilians, and students, and seeks disciplined Training Assistants to support Moodle LMS back-office operations—including loading and structuring VOD/AOD coursework, transcripts, quizzes, and certificates under established SOPs. Assistants receive complimentary access to select CCF courses, professional recommendations, and referrals based on performance. Candidates must already possess Moodle back-office capability or demonstrate the ability to rapidly comprehend, retain, and apply procedures with minimal supervision; expectations are high and quality control is non-negotiable. Funds generated through training are reinvested to supplement investigative and forensic services in support of law enforcement and victims’ families; CCF does not charge for its investigative services. This role is strictly non-investigative and educational, conducted under nonprofit governance with no law-enforcement authority or access to confidential case materials.
