Description
Join Our Food Pantry Volunteer Team!
Are you ready to make a difference in your community? We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us sort and distribute food to those in need. Your efforts will bring smiles and hope to many!
What You’ll Do:
- Sort and Pack: Organize canned goods and non-perishable items in our food pantry.
- Distribute Joy: Assist in handing out food boxes or bags to our community members.
- Recycle and Refresh: Disassemble boxes, discard expired food and help keep our pantry clean and stocked for the next service day.
Qualifications:
- Heart for Service: Must be able to work with the public and have a passion for helping homeless and low-income individuals.
- Strength and Stamina: Able to lift and carry a 20-pound food bag and stand for most of the shift.
- Bilingual Bonus: (English and Spanish) speakers are preferred, but not required.
