    Board of Governance Member

    Role Overview

    The Board of Governance serves as the fiduciary and legal governing body of Gervonni Cares. Members are responsible for oversight, compliance, financial stewardship, and executive support.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide fiduciary oversight (budget, audits, financial health)
    • Ensure legal and ethical integrity of the organization
    • Support and evaluate the Executive Director
    • Participate in strategic planning
    • Approve policies and major organizational decisions
    • Serve on or liaise with committees as needed
